Those are the words that Gary would say some almost 45 years after this picture of Gary was taken, when being reacquainted with car owners Richard Ege and Paul Hildebrandt, owners of the "Lilac" #9 Gremlin above. 

After having some success in Florida, Gary headed north in the early 70's, and began driving the Ege/Hildebrandt #9 coupe.  The coupe was soon replaced with a Whip Mulligan built Gremlin, and it was when he began driving that Gremlin (in the image above) that the game changed...  Folks in the northeast, and beyond, would forever know the name "Gary Balough."
