Comments: Comment from Fred:  Joe - Photo taken by one of our fans. I think this is Flemington. Notice the car is loaded backwards on the trailer. One of the only times we crashed it. Ollie was 37 or 38 yrs old and I was 25yrs. I think we loaded it that way so I could repair the front end damage on the trailer. By the look on Ollie's face, he was not happy.

02.08.17 3Wide Is that a can of beer next to you Fred?  You don't look old enough to drink in this picture!  Pretty cool to think that as a car owner, you were competing against many owners that were twice your age.  With drivers like Ray Neary and Oliver Butler, they definitely knew you were there, winning features at Harmony, Flemington (maybe East Windsor too?)  ...and that #21 coupe had plenty of attitude...  Looked fast sitting still.
02.09.17 Fred Menschner Joe, about the beer, that's how we stayed Soo thin, we did not have time to eat. Remember what Wally Marks always said:  "Thirty five dollars for parts, and thirty five cents for soup."
02.09.17 3-Wide Fred - What year were you "officially" listed as an owner?  1970 with Ray Neary, or before that?  Not sure if you and Ray were in partners on the early #21's or not.

I got with Ray in 1965 and we became race car partners in 1967. This is when I returned from army basic training and we had the Tas/Piscopo car. Our garage was in Chambersburg section of Trenton.

Fred,

Thanks for posting.  I don't believe I ever saw that photo. Not sure you realize how much it means to me. I was 9 years old and it seems like yesterday. Sure do miss those days ,it was like we were all one big family - you, Carol, brother Ronnie, and all the guys on the crew. It was great seeing you at the FSHS meeting and thanks for introducing me to Mr. 3Wide "Joe" was a pleasure meeting him.

Please keep the memories alive!!
Thanks again
Ollie Butler
