Comment: Bob Travagline racked up the wins in this Chevelle
Late Model. I'm not sure, but he might have gone an entire season
unbeaten at East Windsor Speedway... When Bob pulled in with the #1X,
everybody else was racing for 2nd place. That was an interesting thing about the Late Model classes at both Flemington and East Windsor.... Both tracks had full fields of cars, but it seemed like at any one time, there would be a dominant driver in the Late Model class at each speedway... Bob Travagline in the #1X... Stan Janiszewski in the #76, Gary Raymond in the #28, Gary Butler in the #68.... and Bob Travagline certainly was a dominant driver. Bob would go on to run a small block modified and would find victory lane at Flemington, and would also become the 1994 Bridgeport Small Block Champion. |
