Comments: Comment from Scott:  My mom, Ruth Ely, took the attached photos of Augie, and his son Jackie during the Summer of 1966,  Looks like Augie's working on a race car rim while Jackie's loading up his S-1 modified sedan fore East Windsor action.  My mom and I would frequently stop at the Moschera's on our way to the races.  That's me (at 16) looking through the passenger window.

Who would have thought that in the 70s I would serve in same the National Guard unit with Jackie, Fred Menschner, Ray Neary, Tony Klemcak, and Richie Kanka (Tony owned and Richie worked on the Lee McBride # 11).  These were racing gods in my opinion!  It was a sad, sad day when Jackie lost his life on a snowy road.  Not  because he was racer but because Jackie, like his dad and the rest of his family, were good, kind, caring people!
