03/14/05 3-Wide For those of you who are saying... "I know who Glenn is... and I know who Bill Singer is...., and man, that name Bill Young sounds familiar...."  just look around the Vault and see how many photos were taken by Bill!

The above photo was taken on the homestretch during a break in the action as Bill Singer hands the mic over to Glenn Fitzcharles, who had a special presentation for Bill for all his support during the years.  Bill told us that he's not quite sure specifically what it was for, but that Glenn is a great guy and that he would often stay in the area with Bill (near Flemington) when there were multiple races in one weekend at Flemington so that he didn't have to drive back and forth to Boyertown.

Bill and Lou Brunnel's Y & B Photos could often be found on some of the cars of the day including the R-10 Falcon that Glenn piloted for the Rio Brothers.

When Bill wasn't running around taken photos, he could often be found in the pits working of many different racecars including the Dave Piscopo #39 back in the 60's, right on through to the blue and white #24 Sportsman driven by Newt Hartman in the mid to late 70's.

We thank Bill, along with all the photographers who captured the history of the sport and those special moments that we are all still talking about.
