Comments: | When
you talk to those in the know about driving styles of the early 70's, many will have Ray
Neary "near" the top of their list. Always exciting to watch and always
very fast at such tracks as Reading, Harmony, Nazareth, East Windsor and Flemington. Bill Singer once told me that out of all the drivers he saw run, he thought Ray would have made one heck of a sprint car driver. Ray has also done more than his share to keep the history of our sport alive and well with his restoration of the late 70's - early 80's Wally Marks owned #1, as well as restoring the replica of the Al Tasnady driven "Polecat" #39. |
