03.08.09 Walter Onora One of the true greats in the northeast. When we first went to Flemington, Joe Kelly was one of the first drivers I recognized, from the days at Old Bridge. Also, remember, the battles on the track He had with "Pee Wee" Griffin at East Windsor. I was at Flemington the night, Joe had that tragic accident. We were sitting in the first turn bleachers. What a shame! He was truly one of my favorites!!!
03.16.09 George Pavlisko That is Jimmy Fodors 13, dirt tires and the cyclone fence looks like Flemington. Not sure of what version of the car that is but can only say that he really deserved the name Gentlemen Joe Kelly. He ALWAYS had time for me and my family when we saw him which was often.
RIP David

Take Care

03.24.09  SUE JOE KELLY WAS MY DAD!  MY NAME IS SUSAN TAYLOR AND I AM STILL IN AWE HOW MANY PEOPLE REMEMBER MY DAD, WHO WAS TRULY MY HERO. I EVEN NAMED MY FIRST BORN KELLY TAYLOR AFTER HER POP-POP! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE IS GONE OVER 15 YEARS AND I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR ANY STORIES ABOUT HIM AND/OR PICTURES ANYONE HAS.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR REMEMBERING HIM AS GENTLEMAN JOE, HE WAS A WONDERFUL FATHER TO ME AND MY BROTHER, DON (WHO LOOKS JUST LIKE HIM!), AND A WONDERFUL POP-POP TO HIS GRANDCHILDREN. I WAS JUST INFORMED OF THIS WEBSITE BY MY BROTHER LAST NIGHT. THANK YOU EVERYONE AND GOD BLESS!!!
