My dad...Sam Malack... raced there and around the east coast from the late 40's to mid 50's with the likes of Frankie Schneider and Jacky Mclaughlin...by the late 50's and early 60's I was going with him and he was then an official...years later in late 70's I took my family to the races and fair...best times of my life were spent there roaming the pits talking to drivers and watching in awe these speeding men and their machines...my hero's...terrible and so sad what  became of it...
