Jim Maxson keeps the field at an exhibition pace.


Joe Payne Sr and Ace Lane Jr.  Ace told me about the time he ran up front in a TQ for Joe at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall in the 70's.  He also ran an older style TQ at Wall that was powered by one of Joe's engines, and was leading going away... only to have the engine let go on the last lap.

Time to head home after an very enjoyable trip to Hinchliffe Stadium, and a visit to the Great Falls of Paterson.
