Christmas Comes to the Matheny School a Little Early This Year!

The Spirit of Christmas!

The Matheny School is a special place and has been for many years.  They take care of people - People who don't have somebody to go home to - Many who do not have family.  Some are little kids... and some are a little bigger... but it doesn't matter.  Some have disabilities that keep them from telling you how they feel, but because of the group of tremendously dedicated people that were at the school on Saturday, Dec 17th, there was a lot of joy this past weekend at the Matheny School.

Support of the Matheny School by the local auto racing community has been a tradition for over 30 years.  Early CARS Supporters include names like Ace Lane, Sammy Beavers, Mike Grbac, Ken Kuhlmann just to name a few.   CARS represents the best in racing.

Some of those on hand this Saturday included Wall Speedway Drivers Elliott Wohls, Justin Gumley, Jarad Okerson, Chaz Okerson, Kevin Eyres, Eric Albright and Busch North Series Driver Glen Sullivan.  Others members of the racing community helping out included Ace Lane, Wendy Kennedy, Audrey Katsenstein, Ed Resta andThe Brophy Family just to name a few.

Many of you tell us how much you like our site and for that we are grateful.  You often tell us how many hours you spend combing though the pictures, and the memories that they bring back.    Many have asked how you can support the Vault....

This holiday season, if you can spare maybe $5 or $10, or $20... to help these kids, put a check or whatever you can in the mail and note that you are a Friend of the Vault and WE'LL CALL IT EVEN! (lol)
