Racers Working with Racers...  Support those business that support our sport!

Two for Trstensky

2nd Rookie Feature win for Will Trstensky

Scrape must be up again!... Goop had his traveling Flemington Speedway Museum on hand for fans to check out being pulled by this pretty snazzy truck.

Rick Laubach and a few other Bridgeport Modified drivers headed north once Bridgeport cancelled.

Bobby's Back.

Bobby Drayton wasted no time finding the groove, driving his #09 to a qualifying spot in the first modified heat.

With a tacky track, sportsman racer Doug Urbano sheds a few pounds of clay after running his heat race

...In case you haven't noticed, Billy Jr has become a solid top 5 Modified driver at New Egypt, and something tells me he's got his sights set even higher...

Vern McLaughlin's crew works on the left front after Vern won his heat in convincing style

Good to see Ryan earning a few Frequent Flyer Miles at New Egypt Speedway in the "747"

New Egypt's good Bad Boy.

"Hop in my Chrysler, it's as big as a whale and it's about to set sail!"

Full fields for each division wasn't enough to keep the gray sky from rolling in

...watching Billy lead the modified heat from the pit fence

The TEAM1 crew  keep an eye on Bllly from the pit stands as long time crew member Nick Lombardi takes a few notes...

.. Did I say that Nick has been a long time crew member for Billy?  Here's Billy in victory lane in the Keystone Pretzels #126 with Nick Lombardi (with trophy) in this 1980's Ace Lane Jr. photo.

Team1 goes to work as soon as the K&A Excavating, Ling Trucking #1 gets back to the pits

Sammy Martz looked strong last week, and had a good run in his heat race... I think it's time for a Sammy Streak!

Mr. Howardson gets ready to add a little fuel to son Mike's #17H Sportsman racer

Lot's of experience in the Beaver's Racing Sportsman #94 pit (driven by Justin Hoffman)...  That's Sammy Beavers on the left and Nate Strunk on the right...

...and that's also Sammy Beavers on the left and Nate Stunk on the right from a few years ago...

Solid racer Rich Rutski was wheeling the MMI Heating and Air Conditioning sponsored #94M

Willie Osmun brings the #14 in with a right rear flat during heat race action.

The crew made a quick tire change, but unfortunately, green flag conditions returned just before Willie was able to get the car to the return ramp.

With almost all of the qualifying complete, a light drizzle began...

... eventually, the decision was made to call it a night, with the features to be added to additional shows in the future.

Wyatt Jacobus Jr. had the Tri-State Vintage Stock Car Memorabilia trailer in the picnic area for all to take a walk through to check out the photos and other interesting items.

Also as part of the Tri State Vintage display was this Hanchick & Lerch #44 sedan

With rain still falling, Wyatt Jacobus Sr. fires up the #44 to load it back into the trailer

Here's one of Wyatt in his own sedan from back in the early 70's at Flemington

Goop shows exactly how everybody felt about the rain...  Hopefully he'll have the Flemington Speedway Museum Trailer back on a dryer night!
