Reading Fairgrounds Mall - February 27th, 2008

The Modifieds were back in Reading...

Jim Biehl's "Cherokee"

Racecars outside the stores...and in this case, inside too.

That says it all...  We're definitely old school around here... and this display at "Air Brush Graphics" really caught our eye.

The guys at Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society (RFRHS) made us feel welcome!

Nice collection of models at the RFRHS display...

Speaking of models, this one has working steering, adjustable tie rods, working shocks...

...foam on the stacks... actual coil-overs in the rear...  Unbelievable work by creator Randy Werley.

Speaking of Red Coffin, here Red and Gerald Chamberlain do a little bench racing!

...Had to stop by and check the H.O. scale racing action at Randy's Raceway.

This late model was cranked way over on the right side looking like it was throwing it hard into the corner... Pretty cool!

Billy, Billy and Billy.

Schaeffer's Harley Davidson, Pioneer Pole Buildings Inc., Billy's doing a great job supporting those who support him!

...I'm telling you, this whole "being a race driver thing" has its advantages!

This weekend, go out and buy a new Harley at Schaeffer's Harley Davidson and then call up Pioneer Pole Barns at 888-448-2505 and let them put up a beautiful pole barn so you have a nice place to keep it!  Billy and the crew above will be running the #8 at Big Diamond this year.

...Great to see artist David Allen Graul back at the show!

Those who visit our site are familiar with David's amazing ability to recreate our memories in pencil, but David had to step away from drawing to take care of some serious health issues about a year ago.  We're glad that not only is David back, but motivated by fellow artist Clark
Angstadt, along with hearing that Gerald Chamberlain would be at the show, David was able to pick up the pencil once again and finish this unbelievable drawing of Gerald Chamberlain "Elbows Up" in the Joe Bullock owned #76 Falcon.
