More on Ken from Bill Skinner:  In 1955 Ken pulled a driver from a burning car at Flemington.  The night Otto Harwi had his fatal accident, Ken reportedly had blown his car's engine earlier in the program. Thus he was in a position to run to the scene of Otto's accident and call out into the darkness, "I'm here, Otto!" Alas- no answer. Ken decided to give up racing after losing two of his best buddies, Otto and Jackie, in the 1964 season.
