Here's the view of the side of the stands... on our way down the path to the the frontstretch...
Found it... Here's the frontstretch, looking toward the 4th turn... This is the direction the drags ran...(up and over the hump!)
...and here's the view of the frontstretch, heading toward turn 1... Let's take a lap...
...heading down the frontstretch...
...coming up on turn 1...
... we stop to think about days past...
..into turn 1... now heading into turn 2...
... continuing on between turn 1 & turn 2... (Vineland sure had some long turns....)
Back on the gas heading out of turn 2....
...up in the loose stuff, on the high side of turn 2... Watch out for the tire and that fence out there!
Heading out of 2, down the long backstretch...
Midway down the backstretch... what's that road coming up on the left... (see below photo)
(...Looking back over our left shoulder we see that it's where the road couse from the infield meets up with the backstretch.)
...whoa.. out of the groove again!... Keep your eyes on the track and keep it off the fence, will ya!
...angling back down into the groove, into turn 3....
..smooth going through 3, into turn 4...
...loose coming out of 4... up near the fence again!
...straighten'er up outta 4, and back down the long frontstretch once again... Congratulations - You've completed a lap at Vineland!
Check out this tree that grew between the fence plank and the cable.... knocking the plank off its post on the right, but still attached to the post on the left.
Let's take a look from the stands, located along the outside of the frontstretch...
Much of the supporting block work is still intact...
...but trees have grown up all around and in between the block structures.
Here's a good spot...
...taking a look to the right...
