Thanks a lot for posting these Southern cars at Trenton. This is the earlier Flying 11, the one that raced weekly at Southside, Langley, Old Dominion and then the big races at Trenton and Martinsville. On the backstretch from left to right. The Lloyd
family house. Next is the galvanized corrugated metal screen wall of Morgan
Ave. Morgan Ave had a gate here to access backstretch. I only saw it used
once during Fair week for the Firemen's parade in the 70s. |
