Comments: Comment:  Looks like it could be opening day..., and if that's the case, I think Frankie might have won the modified feature.  Not sure if he drove the coupe or the Mustang parked next to the coupe.

Yes Frankie won that day in his Mustang. He passed Stan Ploski on the last lap off the 4th. turn!  Stan was in his # 27 Mustang as well.  Frankie won his last Championship at Nazareth that year, 1975.

Rudy is correct. Frankie won the Nazareth opener in 1975 over Stan Ploski. Both were driving Mustangs. Useless trivia from that day in 1975---That Nazareth opener was my first day shooting racing photos with a press pass. Here’s a picture from that day.
