Comments: Going to need some help from you guys on this one.  I remember Roger Treichler driving a #84, (#74) but not sure if this is it or not.  (I think Merv always drove the #58.)

02/23/04 Scott Pacich Roger drove a number 74, and this is it. There was a third Treicher, Gordy, who drove a car that was almost identical to this one but numbered 47.
02/26/04 3-Wide Thanks for the info Scott
02/26/04 Brian Baker That definitely looks like one of Roger's coaches, number 74 (the oil cooler makes it look like an 8). His brother Gordy drove an identical-but-for-the-number 47.
02/26/04 Mike Monnat Not 100% sure but I'd be willing to bet this might be Phil Edwards who bought one of Treichler's coaches and ran it as the 2cents at Lancaster and some events at Spencer.
08/08/04 Jerry Is that Chuck Boos behind him?
02/02/05 Mark Pardue This is Roger Treichler, at the wheel of the #74, in 1970. Notice the roof line across the front. It is cut back, probably for visibility, the driver was seated well back, towards the rear axle. Roger went on to finish second to
Merv Treichler, that year.

In 1970, there were three blue and white Treichler coaches that attempted to make the field.  Gordy Treichler was an alternate starter and did not start the race. Jim Shampine drove a third Treichler coach that was re-number 78 for the race, while Roger drove the #74.

02/02/05 3-Wide Thanks for the comment. It looks like #84 in the picture... is it #74 or #84?
Thanks for helping us out on this one.
02/03/05 Mark Pardue Roger is my uncle. The number was indeed #74. I recognize the roof line as well as the curve in the body below the "A" pillar. The number was hard to see due to an air vent cut into the door just before the 7. Also the vertical member of the nerf bar could obstruct the view of the number as well.
