| 08/19/04 | Daddio | One of my heroes, Gil was always willing to sign autographs and take time with a kid. This car was a radical torsion bar car, with bundles of steel rods running across the car. There was an almost exact asphault replica he won the Wall stadium championship with back in the day when he was running for Durkin, always the finest of equipment for one of the best and most versatile modified drivers of all time, and yes, maybe a year later when Gil gave up dirt it wound up being a white #K46. |
