Comments: | Frankie's face tells the whole story... Not just the
dirt and grime, but the smile that is earned only by the victor. At a time when
ingenuity + drive ='ed winning results, here's the guy who came out on top most of the
time. The word legend gets thrown around pretty easily today... to the point that it's easy for us to lose site of the true meaning.... The American Heritage Dictionary defines legend as, "A person who achieves legendary fame; a notable person or the story's told about his exploits". Frankie isn't "a" legend... Frankie is "The Legend." We hope you guys will be able to provide the details regarding the location and date of this great photo. |

12/27/04 | Rick Shive | Gotta be Nazareth, that's Jerry Fried presenting the trophy, probably late 60s judging by the helmet. |
04.28.09 | Richard Coleman | The announcer is Dave Schlenker, long time P.A. announcer at Nazareth. |
