| 07.07.10 | Bob Feitt | Yes, Dick Davis did sponsor this car. In addition, Augie Boyd, Lenny's dad operated Monmouth Aircraft Service. Both Augie and Lenny built cars in that shop after 5pm...mostly midgets. They both routinely worked on aircraft that I flew. One of which was a old D-18S Twin Beech that I and owner Tom Larsen flew from Monmouth to Palo Alto CA. in 1973. Lenny was one of my heroes however. |
