05/25/97 | Terry Kelleher | Can't believe it! Was anybody that young? There is a great photo of "Under Dog" leading Tom Skinner's 659 down the front stretch at Atlantic City. The size difference tween the two race cars is incredible. |
05/25/07 | Kevin Eyres | It's amazing, 30 years ago and Tony looks exactly the same. |
05/27/07 | Chuck DeFebbo | This was one of the first "low slung" modifieds in the tri-state (Pa, NJ & Del) area. When standing alongside of the car, the roof was "waist high" on me (approx. 41"). The car was based upon a "Profile" chassis with modifications. I was one of the original members of the pit crew (15 years old at the time), along with owner Frank Ransom, Mike Viteo, Bob Hackett & Rich Petkevis. Tony took over driving the "0" after long time chauffer Carl Grinar. We raced Trenton, Pocono, Riverhead & Thompson, besides Wall Stadium & New Egypt. The best years of my life were spent as a crew member of the "0". |
