Comments: | Comment from Matt: How's this for your Gettin' There page. This early 50's chevy truck was converted by my uncle from a box truck to a flat bed to haul the Fireball 99 back in the 60's. This photo was taken by my cousin Peggy Batissa in the driveway of my uncle's house. The neat thing was that the truck had a white body and blue fenders to match the paint scheme on the 99. If you look close you can see the rear bumper and a bit of the fender of the 99 in the lower left hand corner of the pic. Some things are so old they're new. |

Perks 365 hp 64 Vette toolin right along in the right lane, after watching Bob Malzahn win a 100 lapper at Allentown. Here comes Battissa's hauler, with the #99 on board blowin' our doors off on his way to Naz. |
