Comment: I'm told that this is the last Grant King Modified
ever built. It's a beauty! According to Mike O'Shea (owner) this
was one of the most durable cars ever made. It was run by Larry Kline,
Stan Ploski, Frank Cozze, Ken Brenn Jr, and then was sold to either Mark
Blackwell or possibly Jimmy Loesch ???. It's possible that this car
actually ran for the entire 80's (with different bodies and in different
classes.) I remember Larry Kline doing very well in this car and I'm not sure why, but I think that Stan Ploski took over the driving chores. Aluminum rims... Chrome bumpers and nerf bars... chrome headers... and the shiny little bulldog sitting up there on the hood. Almost too pretty to race! |
