Comments: Comment from Rich:  At the first Mini Stock Championship Race in 1976, held on Pocono's 3/4 mile track, over 180 cars registered from around the country. But when the race ended, it was the local team of Modified driver Jay Aten driving Danny Casper's mid-engine/Ford powered car the took home the money.
