Comment: Dick Ivins (brother of the
photographer of the image Nelson) sits on a Oliver tractor probably looking
to get the next best shot with his video camera. Dick, (who could always be seen with his trademark white pants and white shoes) captured the history of our sport... at all of the local speedways throughout the 60's, 70's and beyond. In addition to Flemington, Dick capture the action at Trenton, Langhorne, East Windsor, New Egypt and many more. Because of Dick Ivins, many memories are able to be rekindled as decades later, we are able to appreciate the work of one of the very few people that took the time and incurred the expense involved with filming racing events, back in the day where there were very few that had the equipment or the skill to do so.
