11/26/08 NJshortcut Notice the tow vehicle and the single axle trailer.
11/26/08 3Wide Karl, were front wings allowed at this time?  Also, was there a maximum square footage rule for the main wing?  Always wondered how the progression from no wing... to a small roof wing... to a bigger roof wing... to eventually a big roof wing and a front wing came about.
11/26/08 Karl No front wings or corn catchers were allowed in URC at that time. Top wings were limited to about 20 sq. ft.
02.20.09 Chuck Hassler Wing sizes for URC would possibly be a 4x4. In 1993 the rule was 16 sq. in. so most of the cars ran 3x5 (15 sq. in.) so they could run the longer side boards to get the cars into the corners better. The side boards could only be slightly longer than the wing core (center section). I helped with a URC car in 93 & 94. ( Henry Kowalski # 116 ). Thanks GREAT memories going through here. I grew up in the Reading area and at the Reading Fair Grounds. Still see Gary at least once a week at his garage . Chuck Hassler
