This photo shows pit row and the famous stone pit wall. That is one of the lasting memories of sitting in the stands for first time and seeing that wall.

It was really high class for a race track.

02.26.09 George LeBlanc The number 70 coupe in the photo is Bruno Brackey. He usually won the Langhorne qualifier at either Freeport or Weissglass Stadium to guarantee him a starting position in this race.

He recorded the highest finish in the Langhorne ROC of all Long Island drivers with a 9th place in I believe 1955. The car shown here was his Freeport modified. That looks like him standing by the hose in front of the other car.
