Stew Stratton's amazing recreation of Pee Wee Griffin's #72 and along with matching hauler.  This one has special meaning to me as Pee Wee use to keep his car and hauler at the Rt. 130 & Rt.539 circle, about 2 miles north of Hightstown, NJ.  He ran a Gulf gas station that was located just across the street of a restaurant called the Cranbury Grill that my father and I ate at often back in the early 70's.  We'd sit at the counter together which was really cool as a kid, and every once in a while, Pee Wee would stop in which meant every time we went there, I always thought we just might bump into him again.

01/06/09 Kevin Newman Fantastic!!! Kevin Newman
01/09/09 Kevin Mc You used to be able to see the car thru the windows when it was parked inside the shop.  We had to ride right past it all the time to get to Jamesburg when I was real little.

I think the Cranbury Grill was torn down a long time ago.
Pee Wees shop was still standing last time I went by but its not a garage any longer if I recall correctly.

Nice model. Funny thing is he seems to have just disappeared. No one in racing seems to know anything about him after say the mid 1980s
