Comment: This is the last car that Fred built from the ground
up. (He actually had 15 pages of plans that he had drew up - 2 of the
pages are included above.) This was a copy of Fred's cousin Ronnie Stashek's #616 car, which was a former Scamardella #121 (possible King car.) This was built in the winter of 1981/1982. After this car was built, Fred drove the Mullen Roofing Company car which was a Budd Olsen car. After driving the Olsen built car, Fred never wanted to build another car because that Olsen car drove so well! From then on, Fred bought his frames from Olsen and Troyer. |
