Comments: | More action from the July 12th, 2003 NOTARC event held at Flemington. Here is Ray Shea (President of the Garden State Vintage Club) in the former Joe Severage coupe campaigned at Wall Stadium. I could be way off on this, but I think Joe won the points back in the 70's in this car and I'm wondering if this could have been the last coupe to win a track championship? Note the vinyl roof! |

10/04/03 | Ray Shea | You are correct, This is the last coupe bodied car to win the Modified championship at Wall in 1975 It is also the last coupe to win the Garden State Classic 300 laps. Joe won the 1975 Modified Championship in this car, the former Tom Baldwin #7 Thanks for the great work in the Vintage car events and racing history. |
