Comments: Looks like a 37 Chevy Coupe on a newer frame getting to it in vintage racing action.  It makes you wonder if they would somehow change the rules to encourage guys to use different looking bodies once again on today's cars.

How's this for a 'Body Rule" for today's Modified Stock programs:

The only rule is that it can't look like anybody elses!

I know it sounds stupid, but I don't think the boys in the Monster truck crowd would let the show go on if the show was nothing more than 16 Grave Diggers competing... each with a little different colored stripe or something...

12/28/05 Tommy Kosch Looks like Accord Speedway.
01/25/06 Doug Megill The chassis appears to be a 1974 or so Tobias. You could tell by the rear
hoops that go under the rear and up to the 2 x 4 chassis rail.
03/05/06 e.field Location is probably Accord based upon the Newburgh advertisement, (and that there is only Accord and OJ Co. left in the area,,, and that is not OJ Co.) I'm thinking Accord as well... They have run a strong Vintage class for the past several years... sometimes it's more exhibition than racing, but it's still the coolest around...

Moved to Central California last fall... and believe it or not, they don't have historic stock car racing out here, (mostly IMCA stuff and sprinters...) -but no coupes and coaches... (arrrrgh.)
