Comments: | Comment: I'm told that this coupe was called "Hazel" and am told that not only is this the a Weld car, it is the original Weikert #29 with a different front suspension and a coupe body. Hopefully you guys will be able to provide additional information. |

This car and Heotzler was a force to be reckoned with at short tracks. Won championships at two tracks in the same year, one 1/4 mi ,one 1/2 mi. I think it was 13 in a row at accord. Almost unbeatable .Great car with a spectacular driver. He used to qualify with the mods with a small block at Middletown, on the outside, sideways, hard on the throttle. I put MANY front bumpers on that car.--Pete Jackson |

The date should be early 1980’s (82-83) the car ran as a Limited Sportsman (small block) @ Middletown, Nazareth, and Accord regularly and at other tracks sometimes. This car was previously (I seemed to remember) the #2 Fast Company big bock modified that Kevin Collins drove at some point. |
