Comment: Tim McGuire (left) and Guy Custer (right) roll the
restored #91 pre-paint out of the garage just long enough to take a picture
prior to finishing up a few things, paint and lettering. After
starting out as the 2nd "Weld Modified" car built by Kenny Weld, it briefly
became the Brett Batty #64, and then became a blue #99 owned by Sonny
Dornberger (one of two blue #99's that Sonny owned), and was driven by Meme
DeSantis as the #99, and then as a #14. Note: Billy Osmun and Billy Pauch also drove a blue #99, but we'd have to check with them to find out if they drove the car pictured above or if it was the Dornberger built version. |
