Comments: A note from Bill:   Knowing how much you loved the "Square" as I did, I thought you might enjoy this.  It is a copy of the original lineup sheet from the draw for the last race on DIRT at Flemington 10/28/1990.   As modified handicapper I have an extensive folder of momentos from this day, as well as the entire entry list of eighty-four (84) cars that came on this historic day.

My most etched memory of this day is the end when my good friend Bill Singer played "Auld Lang Syne" as fans scrapped DIRT from the homestretch after the race was over into little bottles, cups, etc. as we all shed a tear in the scoring tower / announcing booth as we saw the end of an era that would never be replaced.  I sincerely hope that soon we can have a Flemington memories/reunion like Bob Miller does for Reading each and every year.  It was a part of my life that I truly miss, but have so many wonderful memories that will never leave me.  Bill Hanna  Easton PA

12/17/03 Brian I was lucky enough to get my hands on some Flemington dirt. I got it off Ray Swinehart's car (my dad worked on his car at the time). I was only 8 when they got rid of the dirt, but I'm currently searching for video's of Reading, Nazareth and Flemington so I can relive the races I missed.
12/17/03 3-Wide Vault visitor Tommy Kosch showed up to one of our last Flemington get togethers with a clear plastic bag of dirt for us to display on our table along with pictures, programs and other cool stuff.

If your looking for old videos. there are some great ones out there.  If you can, head out to the MotorSports Show in Fort Washington in January and be sure to stop by Snyder's Video for starters.  I'm sure they'll have what you're looking for!
12/02/06 Ew12e I forgot that Dave Blaney raced in the last dirt race there. That is an Allstar field.
12.25.09 Little Lips I was always a huge Sammy Beavers fan and if you look towards the bottom he was also in this field. I can still see Sammy flying around the outside in the #33. The older I get the more I miss these places.
