Comments: | Despite the very logical arguement put up by this fan
above, the management of Flemington Speedway choose to ignore his advice and proceeded
witht the paving shortly after the checker fell on the final race of the 1990 season.
Amazing how even with a knife in his pumpkin, his 12th beer anchored firmly in his
left board and a cement pole for a body, this little guy still made more sense than those
on the board who agreed to paving over paridise. Look on the bright side Pumpkie, now you can buy the rest of that knife set since I hear the cutlery section of the new store will be right where your old seat was in Turn 1, Section 3... Here's some advise.... leave early as I hear the traffic on Rt 31 will make it seem like Fair Week 52 weeks a year. |
