| 04/09/04 | Todd Lewis | Menzel's cars were always sharp I thin Bob Travagline may have spent some time in a Menzel car at EWS . I do know Bob's trademark # 71X is a bit of a tribute to Menzel and Stires. | 
| 03/24/07 | JM | This car was an outgrowth of the first 1x car owned and driven by George Stires of Pennington whose father Earl was behind the effort. At one point they had two cars. George drove one and Don Menzel the other. George stopped driving and the effort was placed behind Don. |
