It was signed and personally given to my 8 yr old brother by Billy O, who came to see him at our home in 1974 - about a month before my brother died of leukemia. I'll never forget how good he was to our family at a difficult time. He also gave my brother a helmet-which was buried with him, along with a framed copy of this photo. Billy also came to my brother's funeral. There is no greater hero to me than Billy Osmun. |

| 1/16/07 | Harry Gano | Touching comment, brought a tear to my eye, but I believe every bit of it. When he won a hundred lapper in the 70s with the Norcia coupe, he let me ride from the front stretch victory lane to the pits on his lap (yes I was a little kid). I will never forget it, nor will there ever be a driver I like more. I remember the yellow driving suit too!!! |
